One of the most hilarious films of all-time, Man With a Van is a hilarious sequel to the financial disaster Argyll as well as Costello's Christmas masterpiece It's a Wonderful Life. The same inscrutable American innocence that characterized the previous movie, Russell Brand plays the eponymous Van Man, a man who travels back in time to modern-day New York City, where the two meet a young lady who works in a theater. Instead of saving her, he decides to go off with her in order to save his struggling business... But will they be able to save their own marriage, or will Van Man destroy his family and even his own livelihood?

If you think of Michael Caine, you probably think of him in one of his iconic scene in A Few Good Men, where he plays a bad guy who's about to get executed by the authorities. The film Man With a Van, though, Caine plays Robert "Bob" Wurzelbacher, a honest former truck driver who knows what it's like handling people's possessions as well as the Van Man himself. The film's story progresses and we get to know more about this unusual man himself, who has an enjoyable time doing it. He even ends up getting away with his cousin after being informed authorities are looking to see his trucks. However, when two movers that are crossing the border choose to make a stop at his home, things get worse.

Brand is the man who's not afraid of getting his hands dirty literally. After letting two moving companies beat a hasty retreat out of his home and he is offered his own truck to handle the rest of the work. The two movers are impressed by his capability to finish the job quickly and easily, even allowing the two trucks that he uses for the move to break some of the laws (one of which is related to the size of the front of the vehicles). When they agree to assist him, Bob realizes that he has a lot more going on in his life than he thought. But despite all of that, he's still dedicated to helping others and improving the lives of others.

In the meantime, a troubled young girl named Beth finds herself having a tough adjustment to her new surroundings. Beth is constantly being criticized and is also confused about her past life and what she's going to become in this new place. She informs her family of her move from the city to Man With a Van, but they don't believe her stories and she quickly develops a deep fear of the new town. The two movers from earlier help her out of a tight spot once they learn of Bob's involvement with the move. They save Beth and making Beth feel at ease in her new town.

In the end, Bob develops feelings for the local girl. Beth starts working with him and they eventually fall in love. Then, the unthinkable happens the relationship gets put in limbo when Bob is fired from his job at newscorp.

check this would highly recommend this book if you're someone who's had a similar experience like Bob. It's a great read because it's so realistic and believable. It's not a heartwarming story like most books, but it's filled with excitement and valuable lessons. It's not your typical emotional read, neither. There's no adorable sidekicks or too many twists.

I'd suggest this book if you're someone who loves funny situations and who likes the thrill of a thrilling story. If this sounds like the case, then this book is definitely worth taking the time to read. My favorite part was the time that Bob and Beth made the decision to move into the van of one of their mutual friends. The whole thing was hilarious and made me laugh many times. I'd also like to say that the plot was engaging. I didn't have any issues with the plot or the characters and it kept me interested from start to finish.

Overall, it was a fun book. It's realistic , and I believe that people would recommend it. People who love to travel, like adventure, and just want to see the way other people handle life in a humorous kind of way should absolutely go through Man With a Van by Paul Therien. It's a short and enjoyable read that has a great storyline.
