3 Click On Select Another App

Hello! This program was made to avoid having to put in Java when you've got already gotten it bundled with Minecraft. This program was made using Autohotkey and was designed for Home windows 10. This will likely or may not work on newer or older Windows variations.

Usage

1. Proper-click a .jar file.

2. Hover over "Open with".

3. Click on "Select one other app".

4. Tick the box saying "All the time use this app to open .jar information".

5. Click on "More apps".

6. Scroll to the bottom of the checklist.

7. Click on on "Look for an additional app on this Computer".

8. Now browse to the location where you put in this script. minecraft java By default it's named "MinecraftJarInstaller.exe".

9. Choose it and click on on "Open" (or double-click the file). ARKADNE IGRE

10. Now you might get an error saying "You will need to set this program as default." Ignore it and click okay.

11. Now open any .jar file from within file explorer and it ought to work.

Altering THE JAVA EXECUTABLE PATH

The default path for the Java executable bundled with minecraft is "C:\Program Information (x86)\Minecraft Launcher\runtime\java-runtime-alpha\home windows-x64\java-runtime-alpha\bin\java.exe".

Your Java executable may be located somewhere else, if you probably did a customized install. In that case you would want to find and enter the proper path.
